What you want to do, is when you get to a shipper and receiver and after you drop you bills, just put the QC in sleeper mode and climb your butt back there LOL. I know alot will say, but you will never spend 8 hours at a shipper/receiver but it happens more than what you would think. Also once you get unloaded make sure you fire a msg to your FM saying your done and whats next. Hopefully he.she has already been working on it but its easy for them to loose you in the shuffle. Also shows your hungry for the next load.

Well it won't be too critical during the winter. By March when freight picks up you'll have gotten a lot better on trip planning. A lot of drivers that leave money on table by not having hours when needed.darthanubis and Chucktshoes Thank this.
