Company gave my dedicated route away to a Medal of Honor veteran.......

But this is the first time I've heard of a civilian losing their job because a MOH recipient was hired.

 

Don’t mean to sound unfeeling and uncaring but as we say in the service “SUCK IT UP AND DRIVE ON”. Not the end of the world another term near and dear to me is “EMBRACE THE SUCK”. If you let petty little #### like this throw you off track your in for a life of misery. Pull your big boy britches up and keep on trucking

This is why I love OTR.
There is no routes to be taken,runs to bid on,
Dedicated customers to kick you to the curb as
Soon as the contract is up.

No seniority bull to put up with.
Whoever wants to make money can go get it.

 

There is only 14 living MOH recipient from Afghanistan, and as was posted above no one “wins” one. They earn it without even thinking twice.
To think a certain job would be there forever is never going to happen these days.

go seek out another one and rock n roll.
