Company-paid CDL training then immediately transition to Lease Purchase?

Sounds great. I'm a new trucker too. What I've read is that leases are horrid. Go company for a few years.

 

Couple dozen to choose from. Personally, I wouldn't do a lease, but if you're determined we can give some names that hire new cdl school grads from your area.
I'd go with a reefer outfit for more consistent long runs and more miles.

I think you have to be a company driver for 6 mos. before the lease-purchase.

Assuming you aren't trolling, let me lay it out for you.

DO NOT even think of entertaining the merest notion of the smallest thought of leasing, buying or especially Fleece Purchase until you have a BARE MINIMUM of three years (I recommend five) in this industry. Not just driving, but learning, asking questions and crunching numbers to see how realistic your goals are.

Seriously, do not jump in with both feet, or you'll discover that what you thought was water is actually molten lava.

 

Schuster might be a good choice for solo and it's headquartered in Le Mars, Iowa.
Their big account is Blue Bunny Ice Cream. You will get some good coast to coast reefer experience there.
