Company Pay

I've often wondered the same, along with ads on job sites and they don't put the company name.

 

If you go to any website of a trucking company you'll find the driver pay listed. It's no secret.

 

If only that were the case

 

May not be a secret...but it will be a shocker when it ends up being half of what's advertised on your week's settlement.

Glad I'm not a company driver anymore.

 

I was talking about the OTR/bottom feeder type companies.

 

Same with carriers/brokers. Had this exchange over the phone too many times:

'What's it paying?'

'We need it there asap! Get rolling in that direction!'

'But what's the rate?'

'It's more than good enough to cover your deadhead, I promise.'

'Yeah, ok, but how much MONEY do I get for putting it in my trailer?'

'We already promised them you'd deliver first thing in the morning!'

 

What company is this?

This is the first time I've heard of a broker force dispatching an O/O.
