Be yourself.
People like me can spot a fake or someone trying too hard.
I give a hard test.
It ain't the jump on in go down the street test, but first is to find defects on one truck with pre-trip then it is from hooking up the trailer and doing a pre-trip on another to going through the city and on the freeway in traffic to backing into docks to arriving back, parking the trailer back into the spot, unhooking it and doing a post-trip.
I tell the driver he/she will get me to say directions and what I expect them to do ONCE. I get a lot of failures not because they screw up on directions (they don't matter) but because they are crap drivers. I use one truck for this because I've had drivers hit the gate, the fence, my pickup once and even took out one of my trailers and it is beaten to crap. Never had an accident on the road with another car with a road test. -
Just for the record there is a bit of a difference between a company road test and the driving test to get your CDL. As to the OPs question. If you have already passed the DMV testing just do what you already know to do. Most of the time these are not pass or fail tests. They are assessing your abilities most of the time. Do a sloopy job testing and you might find yourself with a trainer.

I was waiting for one to pop up with a smoke or a toke or a blaze before taking the test... he he he.
Or a snort, inject etc.
