Company wants me to take a pay decrease

Then stop using them. Seems simple enough.

 

Or an alternative to that….you were fine with hauling it for $1000 before you knew it paid $1800. If $1000 wasn’t enough then you shouldn’t have agreed to it in the first place.

 

Lot of assumptions there. Not worth more of a response than this

 

How much should the broker make? They’re grossing $800, what’s the net? What is their overhead? Office space, phone, internet, personnel? They have costs just like you do.

 

They are supposed to make between 13 and15 percent
That would be 270 dollars or one third of what they made on this

Where does it say how much they are supposed to make?

They're supposed to make as much as they can. If they charge the customer too much they will end up with no customers. If they pay the carrier too little they won't be able to move the freight. They are in a balancing act just as every other business.

I'm only getting .40cpm so this would be a raise for me, lol.
