:biggrin_25525:Glad to know you can do something. just looking at these people in court as the crooks thery are, & maybe their reputation will be ruined by publicity & word of mouth. this may aslo give them a criminal record & if they try this again, the penalty may be steeper. I have heard of folks that work on contingency. you dont pay them until the job is done. saw this on good fella's & other type show's. hypothetical of course.

Now the fun starts, your attorney can use discovery to find out how much they were getting paid and when, if you were getting paid on percentage they may even owe you more. Have him suponea every record he can.

He plans on hitting this with full steam, they screwed me out of the FSC as well, I know they dont have to pay, but I will try.I have a feeling they will be calling me to write me a check when he gets served... After all that they put me thru and the way they treated me, see you in court! Now he has to pay an attorney to battle me. gonna cost him 10 times what they owe me. I was amazed that my attorney can hit him personally as well, something to do with how he handled the money... I dont know but thats gonna hurt =)

There was a guy here in idaho somewhere between Twin Falls And Burley that advertised for a driver for his truck on craigslist. I called about it and the wife told me that the driver was responsible for half the fuel, half the cost of tires and repairs and so on, think she said they were leased on to hendricks out of california, she wanted to know if i wanted her husbands phone number to talk it over with him and i said no i am not interested, i am a driver to make money not lose it. If i wanted to pay for fuel tires and repairs i would go buy my own truck, gotta be careful with stuff like this now.

Who was the broker on that load? Do you know what the total freight bill was?
