    I am wanting to run, predominantly the midwest and plain states, maybe even to Tx. I want to stay out of the NE and Cali. Is there any companies out there that normally just run the midwest?

    Just about every driver out there wishes the same. Over the road driving usually requires you run 48 states unless you are on a dedicated or regional account. Sometimes can be tough for a newbie to land these positions. Some companies only run certain areas so be sure to do your homework and find out who runs what areas.
