compass location

    anybody know where the compass sensor is located. i have found the temperature sensor, it is below the rad, but I can't seem to find the compass location. has the East and West backward. North and South are ok. must be upside down. thanks

    Prostar, in the fuse/breaker panel in front of the passenger seat. It is about 3/4" thick, by about 2" wide, held in with two screws and has a 4-wire electrical connector going to it. Usually black in colour and the electrical connector is white. I don't think it can be mounted backwards due to it's shape. They get corrupted all the time and need recalibration. There is a simple procedure in the operators manual for this.

    LOL, I had a 50/50 chance of getting the right truck the first time, wrong again! The sensor is basically in the same location. It is right above the fuse/breakers, kinda tucked up there. The sensor should have 3 wires plugged into it. They should be 18 gauge, green in colour and numbered 41H, 41J and 41G.
