not showering is your own fault i never let any company tell me i dont have time for a shower but you would be better off solo team driving sucks unless all the money from the truck goes in the same account ie married

As a solo driver I can manage to average my hours so that I never need a 34. I run recap.
That means averaging 8.75 hours of on duty time each day - on average.
I have some longer days and some shorter days, but I can't remember when my last 34 was.

In my opinion, the planners are doing things correctly if I can run the hours I like to run.

    Ffx95 and dwells40 Thank this.

That sounds miserable. Running flatbed if my 14 aint shot , its been an unproductive day lol doing 34 hr resets by end of day 5. Recap is boring, idk how some u guys do it. I need a 34 to do laundry and relax a little

I drive solo otr and do most of my resets on the road.

I don't have a lot of downtime. I do, however, have time for showers, meals, and proper rest.

Parking at truck stops every day can be a challenge and it's part of the reason I start out early in the morning so I can shut down in the early afternoon.

I would check out the companies that @Chinatown recommended first off, and mention you want to run teams, but SUPER SOLO. << Where each driver runs an 8 hour shift, and then you are both down for 8 hours, together. 3 x 8 is 24. Wife and I did this years ago, and it worked nicely. I'd do it again, tbh.

    Dreazz75 Thanks this.
