You want your rear end pinion to be parallel to output shaft of trans. Is driveshaft straight and true?

They may have put the driveshaft back in "out of phase". It needs to go back in the same way it came out.

    free2fly973 Thanks this.

Drive line is in parallel phase. There was a 3 thousandths correction made on a welded yoke end and corrected. Didn't find anything else out of round or bent. Balanced at multiple rpms

Being offset from top view and side view of truck doesn't it also need to be parallel with trans from top view also making it much more difficult? Are most trucks like this? Pinion lower than trans from side view and 4-6" offset towards driver side from top view?

Did you catch the one from? the mustang avatar guy? He has a some good information especilly on late model stuff. Knock the axles out, lock the power divider, and run it. If the problem is there it's a shaft, yoke, angle, bearing problem. If not it is a tire drum, rim, etc problem.
I had never heard of that before, doubt it is 100%, has worked for him and I thank I would try it in your case.
Slant is also correct: A quarter turn out of phase is often over looked. I did my best to explain that to someone else about a year ago. If you did no see that maybe check in the Pet. section.

Knock axles out? Meaning lock differential I'm guessing? Ok. I'll try it and see what happens but I won't be able to get up to 57-62 with different locked in. Always been told would rip them out. Not intended for high speed. 25 and lower, right?
And each shaft end looks exactly like it's self on other end. Phased.
I'm loving all the help and ideas. Keep email coming. And thanks

Excuse my poor explaination of his post. Remove the axle shaft from each hub, 4 of them, and run the truck in high gear, PD locked and you are not going anywhere. Sounds like you need a shop to do that for you, which is OK and only a suggestion.

    AModelCat and free2fly973 Thank this.
