UPDATE: So it turned out to be a bigger problem: AIR COMPRESSOR DISCHARGE HOSE/LINE which was hidden had a slow air leak (part costs $250). Lack of space on DD15 around the compressor made us utilize a mechanic "it took him almost 3Hrs and it required specialty tools and special skill set". Glad everything is fixed and we are back OTR.

Try building air with the suspension switch in the lower position. Possible air bag blown. While truck is idling, do you hear any air coming from anywhere while walking around truck
-
no air leaks
-
could be air dryer too.
-
When you have air issues like slow building etc.. We usually disconnect the discharge line from compressor and put shop air to it to listen for any leaks. Some of these newer engines however have air valves that do not open until the engine is running.
-
so after putting a new governor on,testing the air dryer, and testing the compressor, they are telling me,the compressor needs to be replaced, and this shop can't do it,to complicated on the dd15,so got towed over to freightliner, and they are going to run a diagnostic, and most likely replace the compressor...

it's not easy to change air compressor on dd15. The Shop must have right persons to do it.The mechanic must be small guy with small arms and fingers. The dd15 was designed by smartest engineers of our globe ... EVERY TIME WHEN I OPEN THE HOOD I SAY THANK YOU JESUS FOR THIS AMAZING PIEACE OF ART YOU GAVE US. HALLELUYAH !
