    Yes, BEFORE you decide to invest in DriversDailyLog software, check with your company to see if they use a "special" scanable log page. There will be a "number" with an "+" inside a DOT and look for that number "SCANWARE" on DriversDailyLog. The scanware is FREE (but it WONT work with out the program).

    That is TOO expensive. You can "tether" a GPS unit to your laptop and use another program that works JUST as good for less than 1/2 that.

    You may be right but 300.00 is comparable with many of these gps units that are sold at the truckstops with the 3 and 4 inch displays which DO NOT have the specific trucking information that we use such as restricted routes, low under passes, etc. Besides it is deductible on your taxes and if your really cheap you can probably get a bootleg copy for 20 to 30 bucks in 1 of the truckstop parking lots.
