    Check the refurbished section on Dell's website. You can often pick up a hell of a deal there.

    Just my two cents worth, but I've never had any luck with refurbs. They're usually ones that have been returned under warranty where the company sent out a new one instead of fixing the one sent back. An underpaid/over worked techie takes a look at it, says he doesn't see anything wrong with it, they put it back in a box and resell it. Sure, they generally come with a same as new warranty, but if you have to ship it back cuz it doesn't work it doesn't matter that you don't have to pay to have it fixed, you're stilll not using it. Again, that's just been my experience. YMMV
