Parked for the night in Hattiesburg, MS. only 1/2 mile from customer for AM delivery!! Then I'm off to Trussville, AL. to get a load going to Home Depot DC in Whitestown, IN.

 

Well I should see you in Whitestown then!! I'm picking up in Trussville, AL to deliver tomorrow night but have to layover until Sunday morning to get my load going to Texas. You get that Jacksonville, FL load?? Ryan called me today asking if I wanted that one instead of the load to Texas since the TX load wouldn't be ready until Sunday. Told me I could grab it and swing thru the house then deliver on Tuesday but I opted to stay on the Texas load... Better profit on this load compared to the Jacksonville run.

I passed the Truckstop your talking about... I rode past the customer and the parking lot had about 8 police cars in it so I figured I'd go on down the road... So I parked at the Kangaroo Express down on the right just past the customer.

 

10-4... Quick question, where is the best place to get some delivery receipt invoices?? I stopped in at the terminal in Austell, Ga today and they were completely out with the exception of 1. They made me a copy and sent me on my way.

 

Oh well that makes paperwork easier then. They made me ride with an O/O for 2 days shuttling containers, learning their procedure on how paperwork is done, etc and like most everything else in life it doesn't pertain to me.. Go figure. I'll get a few from you just incase I ever encounter a time where they're needed. I have a few questions for ya about how OTR does paperwork and all so I look forward to meeting you tomorrow. I'm parked in Music City for the night, should be in Whitestown around 12:00-13:00 tomorrow.
