Sorry, I'm having a hard time believing that one too. Union contracts don't work like that. A driver of 38 years makes the wage as a driver of 10 years.

Well that's what his stubs said, and he also was not a teamster, he was in the operators union, local 150. He started with them before the teamsters took effect at UPS so maybe that had something to do with it???

Its still BS. Maybe he got double time one day or something. No driver at UPS makes $52 an hour.
Like Stoney said, in union shops, all of the drivers make the same wage, unless they arent at "top pay" yet. UPS Feeder drivers make somewhere around $31-32, certainly not $52.
I hate overly gullible people.
