Hey guys new on the board here. I just started at Conway Freight and so far so good. I can tell you this, I don't know why I ever drove OTR that's for sure!

Glad you're here man. I really hope everything works out for you at Freight. I know the seniority board looks bad when you first start but it gets better and so does the pay.

I've been driving for 10 years now with the last 8.5 at Con-way Freight after 1.5 OTR so I get what you're saying.

If you have any questions about Freight PM me and I'll do my best.

Corp should have stuck with us for the OTR to you, everyone would have been happier and more profatable,,the late OTR freight is due to the scrubs they replaced us with,They used CWTL to make the scrubs bid lower than we would have hauled it at,now they have continual late loads,,go figure

Very very true.. If we're not pulling it we would all like to see TL pulling it.. Service would be better and our yards wouldn't look like a TA..

    lonewolf4ad and ECU51 Thank this.

I noticed today that Truckload brought in a few pulls from the West Coast that normally came in with two different carriers. I'm not sure who always brings what from where, or if they were additional vans, but I've never seen 4 T/L vans here off the West Coast in one day. Hopefully you're pulling those schedules instead of another carrier now. I never took notice if the other carriers still came in from the west.

Might be drivers that were coming home for Christmas too....just a thought.

I agree, I think we should haul all we can for you. I was just at CWF XMI night before last. Class act there and that place is always spotless and well run.

Yeah definitely. I haven't been to Milton in awhile but that's a pretty nice facility. Most of them are pretty decent these days. Most of the vans we load at my terminal are pretty short pulls but truckload does have one of the two long ones. Like I said, hopefully you guys start pulling in more of the west coast loads..
