    Ah, yes, the good old Detroiter. Haven't been there in awhile. Do they still have excellent food and buffet?

    People keep mentioning local jobs; not everyone wants local. I tried it and hated it and went back to OTR. When I pick up a load, I prefer to roll some serious miles before dealing with the receiver & unloading. Coast-to-coast & border-to-border is the choice for many of us. To each his own on that decision though.

    When we mention local, we mean the company is based locally, not that the driving is local. My first company was local, but it was an OTR company.
