No fees other than your yearly obligation of $450. You do cover your own disability insurance. You provide your own equipment like chains and straps etc. You do have to pay a deposit for the qualcomm of $2000. Your choice of cash or 3 cents per mile. This is returned to you when you return the equipment if you leave the company. I was a company driver for a year before I decided to go contractor. They treated me very well. I ran 144000 miles in my first 12 months.

Surfer Joe....... really? Im pretty sure that you are the same guy that has been harassing us Conway people since I've been a member of the forum. Don't you have anything else to do? Several of us have refuted your outlandish claims. Several of us have posted personal information and encouraged other potential drivers to contact us with questions. We've proven ourselves here for you and anyone else that is interested. No offense but get over it.
Lalito1234 Thanks this. -

Luvtotruck.....the dac is an interesting thing. If you know anything about them you know this. Insurance rates go up for companies based in part on the information contained on your dac. It is not in their interest to fill it up with crap. Leave a company like Conway on good terms (with notice, not due to a wreck etc) and they won't tack crap on you.

How much fuel surcharge a mile is conway giving out!???
-
I don't want to keep bumping Surfer Joe's thread so I'll ask here...
How much is the qualcomm if you just pay for it up front? Or is it always 3cpm/week? Is it the mcp200 (hideaway keyboard) or an older version (mcp 150/100)? Does Navigo come included or is that extra?
other questions copied over:
Do you get detention regardless of whether the customer pays?
Is the rate the same for every customer? Still qualify for first hour of detention after sitting 2?
What is the layover pay?
How much is the typical fuel discount at pilot/flying j?
Ezpass included for free?
Pikepass?
How much is border crossing pay?
Hazmat pay?
NE pay?
Do you still get a safety bonus? If so, is it the same as company drivers?
Can you go 75mph without getting into trouble (in a 75+ zone obviously)?
Aside from that 6-7cpm taken out for insurance, qualcomm, & disability, what other administrative costs are there (plates? hut?)
Does conway pay owed IFTA if you tend to buy fuel in low tax states? -

I question the sanity of this guy who loves the t660
:O
By far the most physically demanding clutch mash required crimped up no space sleeper front tire under your seat death trap of a truck I've ever drove.
Will be pumped when the day to trade in comes.
If it isn't 120 degrees like last transfer of crap to this one anyway....
