If you are hired at TL within 30 days of completing a 160 hour CDL course you can be hired as a student. You have 8 days of training and orentation, then 7500 miles min with a finisher # $0.26 mile. They also have an apprentice ship program. Check out their website true2blue.com

I would call gretchen in recruting i am not sure about training when i started about 3.5 years ago CFI required a cdl before you started but i recently saw an ad online about offering training if you get trained in joplin Mo you will most likely go to crowder community college what an awesome program they have there a true top notch program good luck hope this helps

I have just had a phone conversation from CODY, a Conway recruiter and he informed me that the new criteria for being a Trainee in Conway Truckload or CFI is 3 Months to 6 Months of OTR experience, before You can be eligible.

 

You can go to them right out of school but has to be within 30 days of completing school.

 

I finished school yesterday. I am going to orientation next Monday.

 

Are you headed to Joplin for orientation?

I just finished the boot camp that they send you to. The hotel is nice, there are a few more things close by unlike Joplin. I don't know if you already know this sooo............ They send you to Crowder College. The instructors are really good. Watch out for John, he seems tough, but is really a good guy...just listen to him. RC is also great, he is way more laid back than John. If you pay attention and do what they tell you, you will do just fine. Boot camp lasts Tuesday thru Saturday. The trucks you train in are very nice and lots of power.
