Con-way student OTR driver?

Do you go out with your finisher the following monday?

 

I left with my finisher on Tuesday afternoon. Monday is more paperwork, etc at Con-way headquarters. Tuesday is E-log class, then meet with Sally (she works with the finishers). Things are going great. We have gone from Joplin to Kansas to Virginia and are now going to Washington state.

 

Will I be able to get a non tobacco user?

 

I am scheduled for orientation on April 25 in Joplin. Is it true that they now no longer accept trainees without OTR experience?

 

They accept student grads as long as it's within 30 days of graduation. You will attend a week long boot camp at crowder college as part of your orientation.

 

Yes you will. That is one of the questions they ask you. My finisher now is a non-smoker.

You have to be with conway for a year before you can be one. I think after a year they will ask if you want to be one.

 

I honestly don't know. I would suggest to get in touch with Sally in Joplin and ask her about it.

 

i was told after a year with no tickets accident ect ect and all delivries on time you can become a trainer
