Looks like I'll be moving into a Cascadia , its getting detailed right now. So its a official I am finally a solo driver, now to set up house and get on the board for my first load .
congrats my friend cascadia that's a freightliner correct? details man details lol what did you train in? You must be pretty pumped up, and a tad nervous.
Awesome. I'll be there with my husband. So far we have found 2 companies that have said yes to hiring me, maybe for him, keep your fingers crossed!! I used to drive tractor/flat bed trailer in the Air Force years ago. And we own a dump truck now. So at least I have a little familiarity going in. But I still have a lot to learn.
Woo hoo! Good luck I'm sure you'll do great! I hope Con-way treats you well and gives you lots of miles!!!
After getting my inverter installed I knew the truck was not idling right seemed it was missing a cylinder so they told me to bring to frieghtliner. That was 2am and I'm sitting here at the best western waiting on the shuttle to get me back to terminal they keep saying ones running but I've been sitting here 3hrs, don't worry i'll give a full report once I get my first load. Kinda glad this happened I'm more chilled out, plus I got to detail the truck a little better.
Quick update sitting at the Pilot at 78 exit 7 in Jersey waiting to deliver to New York friday. Vmaggs -good luck with your truck hope you don't have to wait to long
Thanks man, trucks all ready for the big day tomorrow. Will check in with my FM then hit the road, good luck with your training.
