Congrats Crzy, enjoy your time off because then the real fun begins. Don't be a stranger during training and good luck, hope u get a cool trainer.
Don't worry, I'm still here, trucking all over God's green earth! Have been to Canada once, and am now on my first HazMat trip. Not expecting to blow anything up, but pre and post tripping like crazy just to make sure Congratulations to Crzyseeker, hope to see you on the road sometime. My truck has "Truckernurse" on the side, so you know it's me right off.
Made it through boot camp I got to meet crazy seeker nice guy! On my way from nesho to Joplin tomorrow to finish paper work and wait for a finisher the boot camp went word for word in earlier posts thanks for the heads up! John and R/C are great guys and really help you out if you need it I'm very impressed with con-way so far and look foward to driving for them!
Well I finally jumped over to the team side of trucking. My partner and I were able to hook-up at W Memphis last week, turned his truck in and we ran a hard 6000 miles in 6 days . I think things went ok, sure looking forward to that pay check. We're taking 6 days off.... had a lot banked and will probably only run 4 wks before Christmas, then hit it hard for the new year. I hope it works out, since I'd be out anyway might as well make money while I sleep. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving......be safe out there.
Vmaggs, my friend just got hooked up with his trainer out of Joplin, thankfully he only had a 1 day wait to get picked up! The trainer told him he was heading home for thanksgiving and was welcome to join in, that's pretty darn amazing that he would ask a total stranger to join and I applaud him for it! Enjoy your time off, I look forward to one day meeting up with you all. I should have an answer about my starting there soon so you never know. Happy Thanksgiving all!!!
Sitting in Joplin doing a 34 mustangj, Glad to hear that you made it through the boot camp. I have been out with my finisher running like crazy. Man! the time is flying by, hopefully I will retain enough to keep me out of trouble. So far it has been a great experience and was fortunate enough to get a great finisher. With any luck I will run off my last few miles by the middle to end of next week and get routed to wherever it is that I will pick up my tractor. Vmaggs, Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Hey Truckernurse: I saw you at the Peterbuilt plant a month or so ago....didn't realize you were on here too, but remembered your name on the door. I'll say Hi if I see ya again. Be safe.
