Glad to hear your doing good crazyseeker! I left with my finisher wed morning no wait but some of the students had to wait a week! So I have 4000 miles already we rolling I'm doing great and so far no problems! My finisher says I'm doing great and he took off for thanksgiving and brought me with him and had the best turkey ever and his family was so nice to me made me feel like home it was very nice of him!! So I think I will be at 7500 by the 2nd week in dec but the longer I'm on the truck with my finisher the better I think it's a great learning experience I'm glad i chose con-way tl great company hope to see you again bud and good luck and be safe out there!!!!

Well that was short lived.:biggrin_25513: when my partner and I hooked up yesterday he said he didn't like teaming, so we got him a truck in Jax, Fl. I'm sure me loosing my cool one night didn't help matters but to each his own. Wish he could have stuck it out till Christmas :biggrin_2554:

Does anyone know if there is some kind of Teaming
Message board were people are looking for possible teamates? The money is to good to pass up as long as u can find the right person to make it work. Well back to my solo Michaels delivery :biggrin_2559:

What did you lose your cool about?? Was it over driving or something about truck space??? Teaming is tough and it's not for everyone.

It was safety related, he started to move the truck to slide the tandems, which is fine if I had asked him to.....but I didn't. Now as I was walking back to the cab (dark,nightime)..... the truck starts moving:biggrin_25524:and it caught me off guard, so once I figured that I wasn't hallucinating I jumped in the cab and :biggrin_25516: let him know under know circumstances that anyone gets in the seat unless I tell them to while I'm on duty. My point being there can only be one Skipper on duty at anyone time, so it kinda went down hill from there. Probably should not have lost my cool but its part of my personality and it happens from time to time (not perfect).

The last couple of weeks have been a great learning experience so I'll just keep trucking and take what I can from it:biggrin_25519:

Agree with the part about not moving truck without being asked, could be a dangerous situation for sure, also agree that losing one's cool probably not the best form of communication but I too have moments where things can deteriorate like that. (I too am not perfect!)

As long as you learn from it and keep on moving on then it's not all bad, too bad it didn't work but I'm sure you will find someone else to team with if that's what you want to do. Are you on a dedicated type deal with Michael's? I didn't think they had stuff like that at CW, might be something to look into!!

    Good luck and stay safe!!!
