It's going well, took my first load to Baltimore Tuesday. Sittng at the Pilot I68 Grantsville MD. Lots of hills today, deliver in the afternoon tomorrow logged about 750 miles so far T660 running great, still stoked but busy, I'll keep u posted.
vmaggs, Glad to hear everything is going well. Its getting harder and harder to patiently wait for my time. Stay safe
Nothing concrete yet but if everything goes as planned September 26th. I will be speaking with Keturah tomorrow so I may know more after that. I had to wait until two months out from the time I can go to school to get everything rolling with Conway. I dont want to screw my current employer so I need to work for them until second week of September. I have never burned a bridge that I know of and I am not going to start now. Karmas a B####!!!
Understood I gave mine 5 weeks notice only required 4. gives me ten days before I leave to get things straight. But they will have their hands full without me lol. I wish them well but I know it will not be easy lol. Always leave on good terms. Keturah was great working with me on that.
I just finished with smith system yesterday, thankfully we finished on time and we got our finishers info. Our finishers are here and I should be heading out today. Hope this nerves calm as I know hauling a full load will be very different from hauling thr training empty van.
I know it is going to be hard to put your mind at ease but take a deep breath, youll do fine. Hopefully you will have a great finisher that will provide you with sound advice and guidance, and get you off on the right foot. Keep us up to date, us fellow noobs that are just behind you love to read about everyones experiences as they go through this process. Best of luck!!!
