Is this a good starter company?

 

it was taken over by XPO Logistics

 

Is that good or bad? I'm just looking for a half decent company to start with.

 

XPO Logistics sold the truckload side off almost a year ago

 

It's more than half decent. The first year is tough no matter where you go. A lot to figure out. A new driver will be paired with a "finisher". I think about a month. Even though you'd be with a codriver, the truck runs as a solo truck. Not a team. So mostly day driving with the trainer up front. Fleet is 2900+ trucks. It's not a company where new drivers finish their 10 months and bail.
