Con Way Truckload

I think I read another positive post on Con-Way at a different forum called jamgears. Sounds like they treat drivers well.

 

J, you think a team running 5k a week. Or a solo running 2800 a week, is a positive thread/statement ??

I guess I have too high expectations of any company I work for. I got 2600 this week. Left on Tuesday, home on Friday. Home every weekend. Always legal.

 

Does CW have regional and dedicated?

 

I know Con-way TL has regional.

 

Regional, meaning one day off per week. Impressive.

 

2800 a week would work fine for me. Different strokes...

 

Actually 1800 miles a week will work for me. But if I'm out, I want to run.

I won't do OTR for less than $1500 a week. I prefer more.

It's not really about the money anymore. It's about my time. Run me...or send my ### home.

 

Anyone from Michigan driving for Conway? Do they let you take the truck home? I will be finishing up with school next week and am looking into Conway to start with. I see alot of good post on here about them and they are on the top of my list. I have a family, mostly teenagers so hometime every 2-4 weeks is ok. Just wanted to know ,since Michigan is not a great state for driving and getting home, if anyone out there had any input for me. Thanks in advance

 

Unless they've closed, Truckload has a terminal in Taylor.

 

We have a terminal, Taylor Mi, I75 and Eureka Road area. You might want to check into Con-way Truckloads Midwest Regional, those guys do pretty well.
