    They refer to these as a conestoga wagon, that is where the confusion comes in.

    This confused me also. I always thought those flatbeds that do mostly steel coils with the wood panels and the sliding top that looks like a conestoga was in fact a conestoga. So I made a post a while back about a step deck that had those wood panels and sliding top and asked "What is the purpose of a step deck with a 'conestoga'. Everyone thought I was talking about an actual conestoga which in I had always assumed was just a curtain side.

    So they schooled me on the difference between curtain side and conestoga,.. and to be honest,.. I still dont know the official name for the steel coil guys with the wood panels. I think we should start a movement and get everyone to call them conestoga's.
