[QUOTE="W923, post: 11991613,
Unless you can’t handle anything bigger please don’t carry a 380 a 9mm or something of that nature would be much more beneficial[/QUOTE]
They are same diameter bullet. One has more force. But not alot, compared to a 40 caliber or 45. However a 380 pistol can be a much easier carry -
I'm not a lady but my pocket gun is a Ruger LCP .380 with Laser sights loaded with 100 grain hollow points. A 9mm may pack a bigger punch but I feel very comfortable when I do carry.Bean Jr., Nostalgic, MAMservices and 1 other person Thank this.

You’re correct and I agree with you but I can tell you that a 380 will not penetrate a rotten frozen pumpkin beyond an 1 and a 9 will go through (not very scientific but it was a real life experiment conducted at a time of boredom)
Very similar bullet design and close weight…I know a frozen pumpkin is not a crazy person but. That’s where I am coming from
And a 45 that’s a size easy to concealed size is not all that practical to shoot for most people but will get the job done
I guess in the end the biggest thing is that the user is comfortable and proficient with thier weapon of choice -
I knew a very large abusive guy that was in a nice restaurant being his obnoxious self, got shot in the gut twice with a .25 He later said and I quote, “when the caps start popping and you start feeling the sting, you won’t know whether it’s a .22 or a .45 that’s biting, and you won’t give a ####, all you’ll be doin is tryin to get away”.
Flat Earth Trucker, Bean Jr., W923 and 1 other person Thank this.
