I understand im speaking as an owner operator for a tanker company looking to gross 6-8k wk

 

Maybe someone on the "Owner Operator" thread can give advice on that.

You are lucky you did not get written up or arrested for spinning tires from a standing start. That's a form of racing which in Maryland is a mandatory arrest and revocation etc. to start once a upon a time.

Lucky for me I had a top end car that could not spin for nothing on the bottom end.

That 20 over speeding ticket would be reckless instead of something negligent like 15 or less over.

Settle down with your driving, In a period of time you will have a clean MVR again provided you are not specifically convicted of something which will then stay with you for life. When you have a clean MVR going back years. You can then go take it to the trucking company and ask for work.

Some of you talking tanker for gas rig work is smoking something really good. Mind if i take a smoke of that? Around here there are dozens of gas rigs parked for the time being until we breach 4.00 gas to make fracking profitable again around 90 dollars a barrel. At that point they will be begging for gas tanker truck drivers day and night. But it aint going to be the fantasy 14000 dollars a week. (If it was I'll have my DOT medical, spine be ###### and ride.)

 

Trust me i know where to get the $10-14,000 week at , i just dont have 2 years exp. required. You either want to look at Texas oil field or North Dakota

Im not here to pick a fight with you. Times must have really changed if you can rake in that much with 7 days in a tractor trailer.

 

ChinaTown can agree as well, he may know some companies that hire. Ive heard guys just take their truck and get hired immediately.
