Condition of all T/A properties

Yes, had a shop and small motel.

 

Anyone remember the Te-Khi truckstop, I think it was I-94 x103 in Battle Creek, MI? I haven't been out that way in awhile.

I figured they must have changed it into SOME one of the chain stops, but I can't find in in any directories.

 

Is that the one that's a Madco now?

 

The Te-Khi sadly became a T/A in 2010. I never stopped when it was independent,
but a lot of drivers tell me the shop was first-rate and the food was always good.
Sad to see another one being sold to corporate!

 

It also had a chrome shop. 94 had some good stops, back when, good food at several places.

 

They had a "Honey Fried Chicken" dinner 4 pieces and two sides. I would get that with a double order of cole slaw to go. Was enough for two meals. And it was better than any of the fried chicken chains.

 

And it's still there.

And by that I mean the exact same meatloaf.

 

Scientific tests are proving strange things nowadays. Bahahaha!

 

Does that mean it's STILL really good?
