I bought it. It wasn’t that great of a deal. I tried to beat Gypsy’s wife down on the price because one of the chrome lug nut covers was missing but she wouldn’t have it .
So I gave in and payed full priceCAXPT Thanks this. -
I'm sure those chrome lug nut covers were worth a couple grand at least. Sounds like you got hosed for sure.CAXPT and HaulinConestoga Thank this.

I’m an idiot. I should have walked away from the deal.
Some of the securement chains had rust on them and the binders hadn’t been lubricated in at least a month. -
Honestly I looked at it for 10 minutes and committed to buy it.
The next day after doing some research and reading nothing but bad about Benson trailers I requested 20 minutes to thoroughly reinspect it before we closed on it.
All I can say is I don’t know how anyone can talk bad about Benson trailers from the 2006 era. It is built like a brickcraphouse and the aluminum welds are in perfect condition and perfectly applied.
Other than the landing gear needing a sanding and repaint and the regroovable Bridgestones ready for their first regroove there was nothing I could find wrong or missing other than the missing lug nut cover.
The securement gear alone was ridiculously adequate and the condition of the trailer was unbelievably excellent considering the age .Last edited: Sep 7, 2022

You were totally ripped off. Fear not as I can help you recover your loss by offering you 10k cash for it. Think of the starving kids in Africa.CAXPT, HaulinConestoga and GYPSY65 Thank this.

Forget the starving kids in Africa. Think about the future starving idiot that bought it .
To be honest I have kind of regretted buying it the last couple months. It’s not the money and I have it parked at a trucking buddies farm at an affordable storage rate but it’s sitting outside and it’s one more thing to worry about.
Just healing up from a falling injury and questioning my future with trucking with the current economy and my age.
so I’ll keep your offer in mind.Last edited: Sep 6, 2022

Quick Draw in Merrilville, IN and Detroit, MI hands down the best tarp system I have owned. Worth every penny. You can maintain it yourself without rolling the tarp off the rails.
