Saw it at MATS I don't know if I would be interested in one but I am sure they will sell some. I didn't wait for the demo. Also they were running a special during the truck show, approximately $12250.00 for a base 53' /102" by 8' high.
One thing I don't like about our Aeros is the rope and pulley rear door. A roll up is easier to get on top for the tall loads.

I pulled an Aero for a year and the back roll up door was the weak spot for weather getting in. I’d much rather have a fast track instead.

1johnb, cke and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this.

Oh man. #### that place. Last time I loaded there it took 8 hours.

In regards to Conestogas, does anybody know if there's any real weight difference between them? That's the one complaint I had when running one. An extra 3000 lbs is not trivial.

3000 lbs? our 53’ aero is 1700 lbs more than the same trailer with 4’ tarps in the side box.

When looking at loads our regular flats can maybe haul 48k lbs. Our conistoga we look for loads under 46k lbs. but can haul a bit more.

I'd also recommend a Verduyn Tarp. My father has been pulling one for 11 years and it still rolls as easy as butter and is a bulletproof build design. Quick draws are weak as sin in my opinion! I’ve never seen someone push one open from 1 side without it getting jammed and the driver have to push from the other side they flex so hard! Also the wheels are on top of the deck so if it’s dirty or something in the way it’ll add to the drama of getting it open.

I have to agree Verduyn are the best and I’ve had several....all you have to do is compare the door in the bulkhead to the others...
