Looking to add a roll top kit to my trailer in the next month and I am trying to decide between the XP or the Quick Draw system. I have looked at the Quick Draw system in person, several kits between 6 months to 5 years old, but have not been able to get up close to a Conestoga XP.

My concern with the Conestoga XP is keeping the system tight with the break over locking mechanism at the rear, how often do you have to adjust the tension rod?

There does not appear to be as many of the XP's on the road, not that I have found anyway. Every truck stop I'm in I look for one and haven't been able to find one yet. Any XP owners that would give me some feed back about the system, I would sure appreciate it.

We have one that is about 3 years old. The whole mechanism at the back including the weld on teeth got replaced last year. It did 7 to 10 stops a week delivery and 2 pickups. Just about every panel has been replaced although I'm not sure the later was systems fault? This is the second conistoga I have been around but I seem to like the therory of the roll tight better. Most of the coustemers house fleets were all roll tight if that means anything?
