You being a company driver, the paperwork for a rejected load is between the receiver/trucking company/shipper/broker. All you do is take the rejected load where the company tells you. Nothing to worry about.

Take a look at Milan Express website; they hire new CDL grads and also have their own CDL school. Terminals in Milan & Jackson. Don't know if it would be better than Maverick though; Maverick has an excellent reputation.

I would choose Maverick, they are great company. Plus they take 3-5 loads a day in and out of the Charms warehouse in Covington so you would not have a problem getting home.

I am a Schneider driver but in your situation Maverick would be better. Unless you can get in the bulk division of Schneider, then I would choose that.

I did flatbed with tarps in the old days. Now i am in my first week of pullin reefer. In my flatbed days i rarely if at all had to wait to get loaded, usually i would deliver my load call dispatch tell them i was mt. And i was reloading westbound in the time it took to deadhead to the next shipper.... The one thing i have learned about pullin reefer is there is more hurry up than i know what to do with.... That part sucks...

And in flatbedding i didn't have a dispatcher breathin down my neck, wanting to know why i am stopped...

" i am taking a dump , do ya mind" !!! jesus that gets irritating.....

man what i would give to be back flatbedding with a nice clean 379 pete thats not cut back. Lol

they want the frickin load there yesterday, but give me a 65 mph cut back dog to drive....

    Whiskey tango foxtrot!!!!!!!!
