Bought Cobra 29 LTD Classic. Have 2011 International. Have a plastic connector with room for 2 wires. Wires running in are green and white. No matter which way I put ground and power wires neither way works. Key is on and runs on same fuse as my factory radio/cd player which works. Don't want to have to wait till next weekend till I get to terminal. Any ideas??

I don't expect it to work now if it did what it should have. that could be the bad news because if you reverse the power, you blew the dumb protection diode in the radio that is there to protect it from reversing the wires. You should now blow fuses that are in line of the power cable.

I don't understand what you mean plastic connector or the green and white wires so I can't help with that.

First off you need to be sure what you are hooking to. A test light and ohm meter will come in handy for that. Sounds like you have already blown the protect diode.

I haven't driven a International in a while, but their radio connect point was a white and green wire in a two pin connector if I remember correctly. I do not remember which was the hot wire. (why my little truckin' tool box has a test light in it.)

the green wire is the hot wire, does the cb work when you plug it in the cigarette lighter?

i couldn't use the factory wires for my Connex 3300, I had to run a bigger wire to the fuse box
