Most of these otr places could give a skunks a#$ abt your safety. They will always say call the cops. Well dead ppl can't make phone calls. And all the cops will do once they show up is collect evidence and call the coroner!!!

Oh on a side note OP. Don't go for cr england unless you want to be broke and running hard for peanuts and scraps for the first 6 months. Trainer pay is ok I guess you can make $1k-1.8 weekly depending on how you run and if your dm hates you. If you've already signed that contract finish it! THEY WILL COLLECT. Don't let the other idiots tell you otherwise.

FYI, Maverick Transportation allows their drivers to carry in their trucks. They do say however that it's up to you to know what states you'll be traveling through and know the laws of each state. I've been here for over a year and had no issues.
I got my CCW early this year and after doing some research started carrying in my truck while I'm on the road. It's kind of a hassle, as to make sure I'm legal I have to unload the gun and stow it under my bunk while I'm driving, making sure to keep the loaded magazines in a separate container in a different compartment. I also made sure to buy a couple 10 round magazines and only carry them with me as I do travel through states that have a magazine capacity law. And I make sure to only carry FMJ rounds as hollow points are illegal in NJ and I do have to go there on occasion.
Generally what I do is when I park for the night I get my pistol out, load it, then put it in the holster I've got that velcro's to the drawer right by my bed. That way if I do happen to need it in the night it's right by me. Plus it's got a light so I'll be able to see what's going on quickly.
Hopefully I never need it, but I've got it on the small chance I do.bobtailer, Toomanybikes, Mudguppy and 3 others Thank this. -

That being said, in 30 years, I’ve never had any contact of any sort with NJ cops or DOT.fargonaz Thanks this.
