Consealed carry

I recon you allow to carry your gun if the state you passing through honors your licence from the state you are from. no need to tell your employer a dam thing as long as you are well within the law. Company policy? well the gun is concealed isn't it? The only way company gonna find out is if you had to use it to save your own life right? at that point would you give 2 ####s if your company fired you? lets be real about this. I'm not a otr driver and only haul within the state so for me, my glock is mounted next to my seat ready for action.

 

really? how about if you were in the right and someone has it our for truckers and cuts you off. accident happens and someone gets out with a baseball bat and wants to beat your face in. It has happened before and many times. Not to me but crime doesn't chose when to happen. That's the beauty of the second amendment buddy. I think he is referring to the potential about road rage, we get into a scenario where the rager attacks the driver. All the beans and video cam in the world wont stop such evil.

Many have been fired drawing to stop or end the threat while on the job, Pizza Delivery who was lured to a robbery comes to mind. However they could not care about the firing because they are alive today thanks to the tools available to them by which they saved themselves.

Generally Employers bleat that employees do not carry guns. However the worst they can do is fire. That is just a short term sting compared to potentially being unarmed and slaughtered for whatever it is in that trailer or your possession.

There are practical limitations to being armed, one is the Law, the other Death or worse and unemployment etc. This Nation does not have National Carry (They had a oppertunity once years ago in a late night senate vote, which was made to fail by a flip flopping Arkansas senator who voted against it the way his leaders told him to. I watched it live on CSpan and his running back and forth in the senate chamber was disgrace and unnecessary. He is no longer a senator, when the people voted him out.)
