Don't go with Stevens, they'll lie to you to get you there. The training they want you to take will cost $5,000.
Don't go they're liers.

Lol ok what about if I have already completed a cdl school if you don't recommend Stevens who do you recommend
-
ok no you cant take the truck home unless you lease. i would avoid a lease and be company.as you already have a cdl then your not gonna owe the company 5 grand. you will get the miles in a newer truck. but your gonna haul a lot of meat which normally means sitting at a slaughter house for a while. stevens is not the worst thing out there. they have really good training and as i mentioned you do get miles

cgerhart is expressing an opinion, not fact.
he gives no details for which he basis his opinion, so I'm inclined to believe is just a wannabe that either couldn't cut the mustard at Stevens or is talking out a lower portal of his anatomy.
If you have a CDL you don't have to change it to Texas. You don't have to pay anything to join. You simply come to orientation, and if your background checks out, you pass the physical and can demonstrate basic driving skills, will be hired.
Stevens has one of, if not the best training programs out there. -
i dont even work there anymore and im saying good things about them lol
Corporal_Clegg Thanks this. -
hi just got home from stevens ill say this much if they tell you orientation is paid its not I started sunday five am your don't get on payroll till wens that's your hire date the first three days are unpaid my recruiter at the school I came from said so many things to get us there and no you don't ever bring your truck home it goes to a secure lot always my three day orientation turned into a week any more questions ask
-
I don't know of any starter companies that have paid orientation.
After you have some miles under you and experience, companies will sometimes pay orientation time. -
-
i hope you meant that unless you are a lease driver your truck stays at a company approved secure location
