Considering returning to the road

My advice is try to find local job, dump,trash truck ,ect. But the mega carriers are not going touch you with an abandonment on your dac but you might find a mom & pop company to work for, you also learned the hard way why "lease & fleece" rhyme ! Good luck !

 

I would also suggest you get an employment background check, otherwise you will probably be wasting a lot of time. I think the same company that does your DAC report also does most companies Employment background check. But do not give up your 9 to 5 I doubt you have much chance, but good luck.

 

I love how people say you wont get hired with an abandonment on your DAC. I've got one on mine and have never had a problem getting a job. I would do like Chinatown said and try Comcar, I worked for their tanker company CTL when I lived down in Florida.

 

There is no reason ever to abandon another person/companies equipment. NONE.. Family.. Nothing.. You can always do what is right and still do what is proper.. I have a special needs kid as well and I don't use him as a crutch.. and I am not being an ###...I am being honest.. Yeah these big companies use you chew you up and spit you out.. There is not excuse to abandon a companies truck..

Next time before you do something stupid like that call the company.. call a friend get on here.. You might have been able to get a ride home with someone on here... or a driver at trans am...
