Construction workers filling out Logs?

    I know, it makes perfect sense writing trucking regulations using an aviation term for a nautical measurement... o_O

    Well I stand corrected. And I guess that also shows you that even when it is an official of the state telling you something you still need to look it up yourself and verify it.

    Thank you for clearly setting both me, and the record, straight. And taking my own advise, I did just go read that section and that is indeed what it says.

    I was in your same line of work for twenty years. 100 air mile radius, you do need to use the scales and a time card or sheet could be asked of the driver but a official log book is not needed. Even if within the 100 mile radius the driver is not permitted to drive if his on duty or driving exceeds the 14 hour rule.
