One of my biggest pet peeves out here, going through a construction zone with those wobbly, narrow, skinny lanes and some driver who can’t control His truck comes flying by me 15 to 20 mph over the speed limit thinking they are a super trucker. When the day comes that I get side swiped by one of these idiots, cause they can’t control their lane…. I’ll just say this, I Drive the actual speed limit in construction zones. That means if it says 45 mph that’s what I do. And I can’t remember the last time I ever passed anyone. And very rarely will anyone four wheeler or truck alike match my speed. I won’t feel sorry for anyone when something bad happens or show you any sympathy whatsoever.

Ironically, there is a work zone East of Iowa City I drive through every day where they DIDN'T lower the speed limit, and almost everyone slows down!
