I doubt that. I doubt anyone has spent as much time on you as I have. Have a great night. Hopefully the staff here will see this. I am done tonight. What a piece of work this is

Bleeders. Suck at raising children and demand the goobermint to step in because you refuse to see that it was you who failed your children.

Same mindset. SOMEONE NEEDS TO PAY.

“But Six, we are a civilized society...”

You mean, weak, irresponsible and stupid when you say civilized, right? So what happens? 15 kids grow up to become 15 irresponsible adults.

I like how you Bleeders absolutely refuse to hold anyone responsible for their actions and choices. Irresponsibility breeds stupidity. If you choose to champion the irresponsible, you are not concerned with safety.

There are many discussions here about this equipment, that scenario or whatever causing crashes.
When I was a Smith System instructor, the very first topic we covered was distracted driving, either other drivers around you, or your own. And this was 20 years before the common use of mobile devices.
The point was don't fall into the trap. And be on the look out for the other person who is. As we all know you cannot legislate common sense.
What you can do is operate in a manner that might save some else's life when they pull an unsafe move.

What do you think of this one?

Where’s does it end? She will continue doing the same stupid things she does until she hits menopause. And what will the kids learn?

How many kids did she have when she first got “help” from the government? How many times has her “man” been locked up? She actually thinks that this is someone else fault. She’s an awful parent. If those kids were dogs and cats, people would be clamoring for the humane society to take the animals away. Point is, the current system is the cause of this mentality.

Now, I am all about public safety on the roads and the highway. I ride my motorcycle all over the US. Talk to a biker about public safety. All of that cattleprod stuff that people are clamoring for in cars and trucks DOES NOT include motorcycles. In an emergency, your cattle prods are not going to recognize pedestrians, cyclists and bikers. I understand this. I understand too, that if I am distracted, I am as good as dead. Doesn’t matter whose at fault or who had the right of way when you’re dead.

What needs to be done to make the roads safer?

    1. Get rid of the cattle prods. All of them. Get rid of the seatbelt laws, airbag laws, etc. Now, I didn’t say get rid of seatbelts and airbags. I said, get rid of the legislation. If someone wants to wear a seatbelt, he should. If someone wants to wear a helmet in his car, he should. But there shouldn’t be legislation. People drive distracted because the cattleprods allow them to do so.

    2. Tougher standards and testing. To get a class C, you go to the DMV and drive around the block with both hands on the wheel. A 3 yr old can do that. Instead, put all applicants on a road course to do 50 laps. Appl I can’t must be able to maintain a minimum speed, move right to allow faster applicants to pass, and not hit anyone or go off the asphalt. I will say this to you, anyone that’s ever been to a performance driving school will tell you, that it takes all of your concentration to do consistent fast laps around a track.

Heck, they do it for motorcycles. Why not do it for cars? If you want the M endorsement, the easiest way is to sign up and take the motorcycle safety course. It’s a 2 day 16 hour course. If you pass, they give you a certificate to take to the DMV and you get a discount on your insurance. I did mine in the rain.

    3. Tougher penalties for bad driving. Driving is a privilege, not a right. A person that makes bad choices behind the wheel should not be driving. The person who is easily distracted should not be driving. Period. Fender bender because of texting? Goodbye driver’s license. That guy that ran into that rockslides...they should have pulled his license immediately. He’s a danger to the general public. That would be the guy plowing through a school zone or worse...

Both. Which one outweighs the other I don't know.

As one Consumer Reports reader mused, “Lane-departure warning made me realize that I weave too much, so I'm a better driver now. However, it's annoying in everyday driving, so I turn it on only when I'm driving while sleepy. Then I'm happy to have it.”
