CE gets bad raps because they are bad...
Like Scar said...they have potential...but will never be better than what they are because...like too many companies...the owner and upper tier staff are loading their pockets on our hard work.
CE's idea of dedicated is really not dedicated and you will see some of the crappiest places a reefer can pull from.
You want to work? They will work you like a slave and again....the money does not justify what one goes through.
Being you are new...over time with various companies you will see what I mean BUT do not let these aholes run you illegal because they will and even offer to 'fix' the Qualcomm to do it.... You get tired...SHUT DOWN and screw whatever they say. They had (maybe still do have) 100% on accidents for a reason...they run drivers to death.

I was out of Sidney and did go to the Ft Worth terminal many times and from what I saw...it is crap but no surprise since it starts at the top with the owner and goes downhill.
Wish I knew some better team companies out of your area that I could guide you to...I am sure there are...lots of good team jobs in Texas as I go there twice a week and talk to some other guys. I will ask around next week when I am there on my team route and see if I cant get you some advice. Just to give you an example of a real team dedicated...my co driver and I go from Dayton Ohio to San Antonio twice a week and straight back.....same place...same days off (three) and same great pay.

 

What do teams get paid there? TWT Refrigerated Service pays teams .60 cpm split.

 

.50 split. Never seen any Company pay .60 split. Highest I've seen was like .55 cpm. I believe "nosleep4bishop" said they"y get .46? No sure if that's each or split? I was making .46 cpm as a Solo there.

 

Sounds like a great gig, wish I didn't hate Teaming so much. There's a two place's here in NC, one to CA, and the other to TX and back. .55 split. Two runs out and back, then three off too.

Got my GF to get her CDL, but CE ruined her of Trucking in three months. Now she's working at Lowe's Corporate offices and hates it with a passion, but hates Trucking more. Lol!

 

TWT Refrigerated Service is the highest I've seen for any company except Old Dominion which is a lot more. TWT trucks also have Tripac APU, 1500 watt inverter, refrigerator.
Here's TWT's pay :

• Company Teams earn an industry leading $.60 per mile

• $3,000 Sign-On Bonus ($1,500/each driver)

• 18-20,000+ miles

• $300 Safety Bonus

• Brand new equipment - Peterbilt & Kenworth

 

.50cpm but when my partner and I were told, .46 cpm the reason for that being is because of our experience. My partner is seasoned and I'm the rookie. With me leaving crst, this was the only company I figured wiyld take us next to crst.

I just looked them up and they have no terminals in Texas or Oklahoma. Don't see myself applying lol.
