He could just come up with the 4k and be done with it. There is also probably a clause with a repayment schedule at about 25 % interest. He would be money ahead by going to West Side Transport and making the payments.

 

Here's the thing to remember. You signed a contract, part of that contract also has a non-compete clause that I guarantee you failed to read but agreed to anyway. Other mega-carriers have an agreement that they will not hire you while under contract with another carrier. If you have a genuine problem with dispatch, CALL SAFETY. That is their job to deal with this. I know, I have been working in the safety office for a year and a half now.

 

From what I remember from the parts of it I read if I breach the contract I just have to pay them back which I will slowly do while working at a different company well that's what I want

 

Check to see if they have a payment schedule or lump sum.
