Contracts with Shippers vs. Loadboards?

    Yes i would highly recommend looking for some direct freight and lower my loadboard use. Nothing wrong with load boards but you want to try to find that great cherry shipper or manufacturer that is your 1# client that pays a premium price for your direct premium carrier service.     That's where I fall in. Takes a lot of effort, but my guys don't ever sit. I keep the deadheading down to an average of 4.5% each week.

    Today I'll be at 380 odometer miles: 142 total loaded.
    Not awful far off my average :/
    If I had help I could commit to loads both ways knowing they'd get delivered vs stepping on my regularly scheduled programming.
