Convert ultrashift plus to manual

If he screams loud enough to the eaton rep he may get them to supply the trans and he supplies the labour to change it to a manual trans

Has anyone had a run in again w the ultrashift Eaton 10 speed swap in a kenworth?
Pedals linkage trans is all in!!!
Problem:
The speed sensor on back of trans needs a plug and reverse on top of the new 18913A Eaton. What's my next step??

i just finished mines in my drive way. I'm also getting the speedo sensor message on the dash, and i still need to change some settings in the ECM because it's still looking for the ultrashift and wont let me rev past 1400.

I just took the reverse sensor off the ultrashift and put on the manual. I ordered a new speedo sensor but the rear bearing housing that came with the manual was the old style with the threads so i had to get another one from kenworth that was the "push in" type. It was a little over $150

 

How much did end up spending on the swap?did you have to buy a new transmission?

 

$150 to shorten my drive shaft, (could have just altered my carrier bearing mount)

$5k for remanufactured RTLO18913A (kenworth of tampa gave me $1k for a RTLO16713A I gave them for a core).

$800 air to oil cooler kit from eaton (could have reused my old coolant to oil cooler)

$60 to resurface flywheel and replace pilot bearing.

$900 for new 1800ft/lb clutch. (Cant use the old one from your auto if you dont have a clutch pedal, its centrifugal)

$200 bell housing or clutch housing, whatever you want to call it. (My old one didnt have the openings for the clutch release for cross shafts.)

$200 clutch cross shaft, release fork, and the lever that goes on the end.

Had to get the linkage from a scrap yard.

Then about $200 in a few sensors, nutts and bolts.
