Converting 10 meter radio

    True, but it seems you equate a export radio with distortion. Distortion is the radio operator's fault.

    So are you saying a converted 10 meter radio is a distorting radio???? If that is what you are getting at then please prove your point. I have a converted connex 4600 turbo that sounds as clean if not cleaner then anything else you hear out there.

    IDK about the rock stations, but it sure would close down 100% of the "holier than thou" (religious) broadcast stations in my area!!! :D :D

    meter refers to wave length of transmitter, a 11 meter band radio's wave length is 11 meters, this is the actual length of its wave, approx. 39 ft.

    Last I checked, 11 meters was 36 ft. in wavelength.
