I don't know how lucrative it is now though, half the trucks you see in the Chicago area and just about every where else has them now.

I do agree with you about Tarp stop, good people to deal with. I've been to the Gary and Ohio shop, never up to Taylor location. I definitely prefer Gary as the location they have in Ohio is a complete cluster, way to small of a lot they have.

Yea that is a big difference; I hadn't realized it was that much. I owned a fastrak from tarpstop; it was certainly not a high end build, but it'd prolly do fine for most folks.

    25k for a conestoga...

I don’t like the straps for the tensioning bit... I will say that. Their rail appears to be solid though and I’d imagine if you’re running off a board and don’t have too many direct customers that will crane and/or have a competent forklift operator having a solid rail is a big benefit... but it’s a 100% upcharge over their competitors...

Oh, and their forward bulkhead and customizable rack looks nice.

    But 25k.....

    Yeesh

We give the crew at Verduyn a lot of business. Gotta agree with how great the staff and their product is. I believe we are paying $15k for ours.

Thank you guys ! I gave a call to verduyn and scheduled for Feb 4 - earliest possible out of 3 locations ...this will give me plenty of time to decide and they have currently 16 people waiting in case someone cancels .

Prepare yourself for having a nervous breakdown anytime anyone goes near the trailer with a fork-lift.
