At some but it varies by terminal. 3 years now to top out at a lot of ccx terminals and will be 3 at all soon they said. That should have been addressed a long time ago. It depends where you are now regardless of the old regional scales.

when I was there it was 5 years. At least that's good for your new hires now.

Actually Cenutryclass they gave me 3 weeks of training. I will give my old terminal that they were big on training. I had 2 weeks line-haul, which was good for learning doubles and the operations, and one week of P/D. P/D the hardest part is the paperwork and the computer. Heck my job there's tons of paperwork to do. Gotta record on the bills and a sheet what time you got there, started unload and finish. But it's fairly easy after learning it.

It's still 5 year top out here, for now.

they told me I'd be in training for 2 weeks, kinda insulting lol.

i actually told them I wanted to be extensively trained in the dock, because that's some of the craziest stuff I've ever seen. Buncha untrained rejects on certified forklift death machines driving too freaking fast for anyone's comfort.... Crazy sons a b......:biggrin_2553:

Hmm I did forget I started out in the apprentice program... My first week was like this

12am Monday - dock inbound learn to use forklift and Sco with a senoir mam

5am Tuesday dock inbound same as Monday

8am Wednesday - videos and such

    5am Thursday - dock inbound

    8am Friday same as Wednesday.

I only remember as it was one of the hardest and weirdest weeks in a while for me getting used to different hours. The the next few weeks were dock work while I was in their training class... That was rough schedule and I was a zombie lol
